Both he and \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eOba Shoichiro —a renowned master sawsmith from Sanjo—belonged to the lineage founded by \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e \u003cspan\u003eHiguchi Minezaburo (樋口峰三郎)\u003c\/span\u003e.
