These Kunihide planes come from a professional tool shop in the Tokyo area. The soon-to-retire owner of the tool shop told me that he bought these from the morihei shop between 2000 and 2010. Because the display case containing these tools is located deep inside the shop and there are no windows nearby (no direct sunlight; minimal humidity fluctuations), the blades of these planes are in good condition and the wooden bodies are almost completely unwarped. But they are not ready to use, they need to be set up.
There is a shallow crack on one side of the plane body (as shown on the right side of the fourth photo, caused by the body's lateral shrinkage), which does not affect its use. Please widen the blade mounting width when configuring the plane body.
