This particular Suita left a deep impression on me; it is highly hard—the hardest among this batch of uploaded Suitas—yet exceptionally pure. When used directly, it yields a near-mirror finish. However, raising a slurry beforehand using a Nagura or an old diamond plate makes it much easier to use, resulting in an even stronger contrast on the bevel (where the cladding/soft iron becomes darker than when sharpened directly) while still achieving a near-mirror finish. It is very suitable for tool sharpening.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0692/0162/5326/files/DSF8987_034774e9-586d-474f-a494-92e2379c51c3.jpg?v=1784123936
