Additional Information: Used, in good condition. I purchased it from a retired carpenter in Saitama in 2 yers ago. This was his favorite tool when he was young. As he used the chouna less and less, he sharpened it and kept it carefully until I bought it.

Due to the carpenter's advanced age, he was unable to give me more information about the blade. Although it does not have any mark indicating the identity of the blacksmith, but judging by the precision of the blade’s finish, it was made by a highly skilled blacksmith.
