Rare large Kiwa Kanna set made by Yukichika and ishido. Currently this is the only set I have seen, and tsuchida store has no similar ones in their collection. The two wooden bodies are finely crafted and made of high-quality materials. After about 70 years, there is only a small amount of deformation and no diagonal twisting.
The mark engraved on the blade has the characteristics of Ishido Teruhide. For this I sought the help of Mr. Tsuchida. He told me that if there is a clear dividing line in the middle of the blade, it can basically be judged as the work of Ishido Hideo. (Please see the third and fourth pictures.) In addition, the two blades were not made at the same time, the blade of left Plane is earlier.
Storage Tips: Be sure to remove the blade from the wood body for storage.
