Year of production: According to online information, the Juichi mark plane began production in 1952 and stopped in 1999. This plane was probably manufactured around 1980 or earlier.
Additional Information: Lightly used, in good condition. It comes from the collection of a retired carpenter in the Kansai region of Japan. The wood used for the body is the best Japanese red oak I have ever seen; it is dense, uniform, and rich in oils.
