Additional Information: Used. The blade had some rust but I have removed it. I found it in a tool box sold by a descendant of a carpenter. The box contained many planes from the Meiji or early Showa era (but they were badly rusted). It bears no marks of a blacksmith, but judging by the precision and traces of craftsmanship preserved, the blacksmith's skill is no less than that of Kiyotada.

In addition, the wooden body is made by the carpenter himself.
