Additional Information:  This knife has seen minimal use, remains in excellent condition, and the blade is straight. It is still very sharp and ready to use right out of the box.

To make sharpening easier in the long run, I would recommend grinding and sharpening it in the typical style of a Kurikokatana—namely, extending the primary bevel, which currently stops midway along the blade, all the way across the entire exposed blade length.
