Additional Information: It is unused, in good condition. This is a rare wide oi-ire nomi that I discovered in the display window of a specialty tool shop in Tokyo. The owner told me that his father purchased this set about 30 years ago, and it has been kept in the shop's display case ever since.
Unlike recent Tasai chisels, the red square seal on the bottom right of the box lid clearly reads "Tasai Akio (田齋明夫)," identifying the blacksmith as Mr. Tasai Akio himself.
