Additional Information: Used, It has a broken cross-cutting tooth, but it does not affect its use. It comes from a retired carpenter in the Kansai region of Japan. This saw is one of the main saws he uses. The blade is covered with a thin layer of dark oxide, which can only be formed through frequent use and careful storage.
It has not been "metate" recently and is still able to cut.
The top of the blade is a convex curve, with lower sides and a higher middle. This can reduce the risk of the blade breaking from one edge. This treatment can also be seen in the "Miyano" school of saws.
