Uncommon mirrored mark of 左清忠(Hidari Kiyotada), from the nagaoka wholesaler in Sanjo Niigata Prefecture.
This chisel is made with great precision and the shoulder shape is classic style rather than Ichihiro style. I have a set of Tataki chisels made by the second generation Kiyotada after 2000, originally from the Tsuchida shop. The precision of the chisel shoulder is not as good as his young work.
