Additional Information: Used, from a retired carpenter. I sharpened the bevel to 400 grit, and the ura to about 6000 grit. This chisel has not been used much and has rusted. The ura is in good condition.

Normally, the maximum width of a Tataki chisel is 54mm. If a carpenter needs a 60mm Tataki chisel, he needs to find a chisel blacksmith to customize it.

The handle is presumably made by the carpenter himself. The chisel uses a straight, thinner handle (the same handle used by the anaya daiku). This handle is more efficient in transmitting kinetic energy. The setting of the chisel's Kuchigane was perfect too.

This chisel (including the handmade Kuchigane) retains the original "flavor" of blacksmith Takahiro  (file marks, shape, etc). The file marks on the chamfered surface are similar to Kiyotada blacksmiths. If we trace the lineage of Kiyotada and Takahiro, we can find that they have the same ancestor - Kiyohiro.
