Additional Information: Used, The chisel comes from a retired wooden Buddha statue carver from the Tokyo area. It has rust on the Ura side. Fortunately, the steel is thicker and the rust on the ura side does not affect its use. I sharpened the bevel to about 400 grit. 

The wooden handle was installed by the owner himself, and I kept it because it has a strong personal touch and is not damaged. 

As far as I know, deep-u chisels are more expensive than shallow-u chisels.
