Additional Information: Used, It comes from a carpenter in Kanagawa Prefecture. The saw has only been used once or twice since being "metate" and is still sharp. The top of the blade is chipped on one side and is missing a tooth, but this does not affect its functionality.
The blade is covered with a thin layer of dark oxide, which can only be formed through frequent use and careful storage.
This is a rare work by Shibuki Sadagorou, a favorite disciple of the fifth generation Nakaya Inosuke (born in 1865). The second generation Sadagorou mark has a diamond-shaped box at the top, and the box contains the Chinese character "渋".
