Additional Information: Used. It came from a retired carpenter in Kansai region of Japan. 

The wooden body is made of high-quality Japanese red oak, using a Tsutsumi mouth structure. 

A tip for using it: When installing the blade, first install it to two-thirds of its depth, then install the chip breaker , and then use a hammer to continue setting the blade.
