Additional Information: Unused, in good condition. From the collection of a retired carpenter in Saitama Prefecture. According to the carpenter, the kebiki was created by a artisan named Yoshinari Noboru, who lived in Nasu-Karasuyama, Japan. Besides being a skilled artisan, he was also a member of the Nasu-Shiobara Onsen Village Local Chronicle Research Association.
This Kebiki is made with high precision, and the blade moves smoothly. It is made of Ripple maple. In its laminated parts ebony and boxwood (light lines) were used.
