Additional Information:  This is an unused stone sourced from a professional tool shop’s collection in the Kanto region. I personally hand-picked this piece at the shop after testing it with my own chisel. Among the four Japanese natural whetstones (JNATs) in this batch, it offers the highest sharpening efficiency (speed) and ranks third in hardness. It is relatively pure, provides smooth feedback, and leaves a near-mirror finish on the edge.

This is an excellent Nakayama stone for woodworking tools—very user-friendly and requires no nagura to use.
