Additional Information: It is used and comes from the descendant of a retired cooper. The brand mark reads “Masatsugu'”(正次). Currently, the only blacksmith I know of who used this mark is a hammer smith from Tokyo; however, it's highly likely that this sen did not originate from him. The blade is made of traditional watetsu (Japanese wrought iron), showing its characteristic grain pattern.
