This chisel is an early work of Kiyotada. It is finely made and you can see more details by enlarging the picture.
This chisel is exquisitely crafted and bears the 'Tokyo Chisel Association' (Tokyo Nomi Kumiai) mark from the pre-WWII era. Although I couldn't find specific information about the blacksmith, it is certain that he had a close connection to Kiyotada—possibly as a fellow apprentice. The maker may have passed away during the war, or his forge may have been destroyed. As shown in the last photo, the craftsmanship at the junction of the neck and the blade is identical to the technique used in Kiyotada's chisels.
