Additional Information: Used lightly a few times, in good condition. From the collection of a retired carpenter in Saitama Prefecture. According to the carpenter, the kebiki was created by a artisan named Yoshinari Noboru, who lived in Nasu-Karasuyama, Japan. Besides being a skilled artisan, he was also a member of the Nasu-Shiobara Onsen Village Local Chronicle Research Association.
This Kebiki is made with high precision, and the beam moves smoothly. It is made of Ripple maple. The mortise holes where the beam passes through the wooden body are covered with ebony about 0.8mm thick on all four sides.
The previous carpenter who owned it simply installed a pencil on the beam and used it a few times. If you want to use a kiyotada blade, you will need to install it yourself.
