Additional Information: Although this chisel is secondhand, it is in good condition and comes from a retired "Tateguya" (traditional joiner/door and window craftsman) in the Tokyo area. I’ve already done the initial sharpening, bringing both the bevel and the ura up to a 5000-grit finish. While the blacksmith remains unknown, the craftsmanship is nice, and the urasuki (hollow ground back) was hand-scraped using a sen.
