Additional Information: It has been lightly used and remains in excellent condition. Finely crafted with crisp, well-defined transition lines along its contours. The cross-section at the neck is diamond-shaped rather than round, giving the chisel a slender yet remarkably solid, well-grounded feel with distinct structural presence. I have performed a basic sharpening, the bevel to 1000 grit and the Ura (back) to 1000 grit. During sharpening at a keen 23-degree primary bevel, the steel produced a fine, pliable burr that retained good tenacity, leading me to speculate it is forged from Shirogami #2 (White Paper Steel No. 2).
