Additional Information: This chisel is pre-owned but remains in good condition. It comes from a retired carpenter in the Tokyo area—the very same original owner of that "Tsuki-Ichihiro" (月市弘) chisel set. I have completed the basic sharpening, conditioning both the bevel and the ura (back) up to 1000 grit.
The craftsmanship of the chisel is quite good, and I suspect it was crafted by a blacksmith from the Niigata region. It also comes with a custom wooden sheath (saya) handmade by the carpenter himself.
