Additional Information: Unused, good condition. There is some surface rust, but it does not affect its performance. From the collection of a retired carpenter in Saitama. It was only sharpened once by him, but as the sharpening quality was ordinary, I have re-sharpened it. The bevel is sharpened to 1000 grit, and the back (ura) is polished to 5000 grit.
This chisel is an early work by blacksmith Kiyotada for Suiheiya in Asakusa. It features the classic Ichihiro-style shape and boasts exquisite craftsmanship.
