Additional Information: It is lightly used and in good condition. I did a repair sharpening, bevel to 1000 grit, ura to 1000 grit. Judging by the level of precision, this is an early-career work by the blacksmith.
During the sharpening process, the steel felt uniform and tough. I raised a clean, even wire burr across the edge, which is very reminiscent of Kiyotada's work. It is well-suited for working medium to harder woods.
