Additional Information: This chisel is lightly used and comes from a carpenter based in the Tokyo area. It features exceptional craftsmanship and comes in a rare 48mm width for a paring chisel, a size that usually requires a custom order. The previous owner's sharpening skills were average, but I have completely restored and resharpened it. Both the bevel and the ura (flat back) have been conditioned up to 1000 grit, and the ura has been properly flattened and re-established.
