Additional Information: It has been sharpened, but shows virtually no signs of use and remains in excellent condition. Sourced from a carpenter in the Tohoku region of Japan. This blade is crafted with high precision; its refined shape and the delicate file texture retained on the surface offer a very comfortable feel in the hand.
The side view shows that the entire blade is not completely flat, but has been designed with new considerations for ease of use, as shown in the last picture.
