Additional Information: These chisels were sourced from a retired carpenter in the Niigata region. While they show signs of use, they maintain excellent precision and are in good overall condition. The only thing to note is that there’s not much urasuki left, but this does not affect their functional performance.
Although they come from the Niigata region, judging from the precision of their manufacture and the style of the chisels, they are very likely made by blacksmiths in the Tokyo area. Among his chisels, I found this highly precise Mukomachi chisel made by the Tokyo chisel blacksmith Hasegawa Fujisaku.
This set and these chisels were sourced from the same carpenter.
