Additional Information: This is a pre-owned chisel in good condition, featuring high precision in its craftsmanship. Its previous owner, a Miyadaiku (temple carpenter), had applied a layer of anti-rust lacquer for long-term protection. I have performed a restorative sharpening, sharpen the bevel and ura to a 1000-grit finish. Based on the wear of the wooden handle, the remaining length of the blade, and the thickness of the steel, it is evident that this was a favorite, frequently used tool in the master's kit. It comes from the descendants of a retired Miyadaiku from Kamakura. The chisels from this Miya-daiku currently listed on the website are as follows:
